Publix has their boxes of Swiss Miss hot chocolate on sale for buy one get one free, making each box .99. Go to the Target website to print their coupon for $1 off any one box to get it free, since Publix takes competitor coupons. I got two boxes of the mini marshmallow kind today! Yum!

I’m trying to use some things in the pantry this week for some easy meals since we have a busy weekend, with My daughter’s 3rd birthday party on Sunday! This is what we are having:

chicken strips, baked potatoes, rolls

chicken enchiladas, rice

breakfast for dinner (eggs, potatoes, bacon, biscuits)

turkey ham with brown sugar & pineapple mixed veggies

crockpot lasagna

nachos

I did great this week at the grocery store, well under my $50 budget, spending just under $37 with tax. I even got an extra meal to put on my list, so one can roll over to next week- I couldn’t resist a sale!

Go sign up for their online bill pay, and pay 3 bills within the next 30 days, you get $35! Sounds like a great deal, though we are already signed up for it, so we won’t get it. It is a great way to pay bills easily.

I’ve been making extra trips when I can, trying to find great deals, to build up my inventory for winter. It seems that Ebay sales have picked up (at least for me they have) since July. I’m thinking this should continue until January at least, since people are not only buying Christmas gifts, but also winter items like warmer clothes, gloves, coats, etc. I’ve had great luck this summer at yard sales, finding nice winter coats in baby and toddler sizes, as well as mens and womens jeans. Let’s hope this trend continues and people keep buying on Ebay!
